Yes - this is absolutely true - Wikipedia is an insidious Big-Pharma propagandist - I had a biographical listing in Wikipedia for many years, until the day in 2015 when I published one sentence in a larger article questioning vaccines, and within a few days I was "disappeared" off of Wikipedia forever.
Yeah. I found that especially regarding the official COVID, propaganda laced narrative, Wikipedia was very narrow and exclusive of any contrary information to the point of regurgitation of false information. DISAPPOINTING to say the least.
This is a growing problem in the present as well as for the future. I noticed that Wikipedia has a very narrow, progressive slant in its summary of any data the search (what ever topic)surrounds, something i thought concerning several years ago. Even with credible new information disproving the "narrative" that Wiki promotes, the system doggedly clings to the outdated information. All things considered, this form of deception is foreboding and unhealthy for rational, public debate. There is never just one view on any given subject. Hard data, not curated to provide a desired picture/outcome but inclusive of evidence that does not neatly prop up a particular conclusion should remain (or return) to being openly accessible for search engine reliability. Innovation and true progress can only come from the ability to think outside of the box. AI must remain a tool, not a principal driving force in seeking new strategies in overcoming challenges the future will present. Surrendering autonomy of thought is at best a very dodgy prospect for our future success, at worst its a collective social death spiral.
